Green Goddess Limousine

A ‘green’ limousine is not really a surprise for any of us anymore with the increasing pressure to be environmentally friendly and the amount of time limos spend on the road and the amount of fuel they can consume. Neither it is altogether unique to see a fire engine limousine cruising by, and while we will always stop to check out a fire truck which is now filled with champagne and a hen’s night, we’ve seen it before.

However, one of the best things about the limousine industry is that just when you think you have seen it all, something new rolls into the scene and you are once again amazed, impressed and just dying to ride in the newest limousine on the block. This week, the newest limousine is a Green Goddess.

While they are more commonly known as our makeshift fire engines, one Green Goddess has been transformed into a limousine. Lee Russell from Cambridgeshire exchanged £1,500 of his heard earned cash for one of the 51 year old military vehicles last November.

Since then he has spent another £5,500 installing disco lights (what kind of limo doesn’t have disco lights these days?), two champagne bars, oak floors and plush seating, meaning the Green Goddess can now be hired out for weddings, parties or other celebrations requiring the very latest in the long line of unique and one off limousines.

So I think this is a lesson to never ever worry that the limousine industry doesn’t have something new and exciting to get you interested and noticed on a night out. There is no need to worry that your sister-in-law used the unique limousines for her wedding that you wanted to use in yours because by the time you walk down the aisle, there will be something even bigger and better, to blow her wedding party away.
